We got away (Finally!) on Saturday, September 2, 2023. We were a little worried about Labor Day traffic over the weekend, so we got up at 3:00 am and got the rig all packed up and hit the road by aboiut 6:30 am. Drove down to Eugene, Oregon. The traffic was stellar all the way -- AT or near the speed limit all the way. We'll spend a week in and around Eugene. Before we left, I took MANY scooter rides around Sultan, Washington, where I had the motorhome parked for about 14 months prior to departure. I found lots of roads to go out 10-15 miles and find great views And... And... And... And... This dude was huge on one ride and RIGHT beside the road (behind a fence!) And... We love our puppies! (and that dark spot on the dog bed in the backgroud is just them licking it.... Not that other thing that it kinda looks like too....) And they love blackberries. Just another Saturday, 9/2/23 - We're on our way. This is a Rest Stop in Oregon at something like Mile Post 281, southbound on Interstate 5. There's a tree here for every one of the 50 states.
