Go to Bottom

Here we are from 10/15/2025 - 5/24/2026 -- Six months in Palm Harbor FL, now on our way to Sultan WA for 5 weeks in the PNW Summer!

Thursday, 12/4/25 - We took another Dolphin Boat ride out of Tampa, FL.

Stopping at an island in the route of the dolphin boat tour - Maybe some shells and shark teeth near here?

Here's the boat we rode on for the dolphin tour.

Our tour guide on the dolphin tour took pictures of all the couples out on today's ride.

Gloria made this wreath with shells she picked up on the dolphin boat tour, plus others that were available in the clubhouse from other projects. You can't see the scale here, but this is about 20 inches in diameter and is absolutely gorgeous!

We looked after a neighbor's dog on 12/27/25. He had an unusual name so I don't remember it but he was a DELIGHT, and got along with our Rotties like they had grown up together.

Another view of the dogs' peaceful co-existence.

One more of the dogs.

We hosted, and I was karaoke KJ, on New Years Eve, up at the clubhouse at Sherwood Forest RV Resort.

Another view of Karaoke. These girls had a BLAST.

On 1/3/26, we went to the Tampa zoo while our daughter Jennifer and our grandson Aiden were in town for about a week for a post-Christmas visit.

Our grandsons and cousins to each other, Maddex and Aiden, ALWAYS have fun together!

Elephants at the zoo.

The giant tortoises were..... Giant!

I really like looking at the giraffes!

Gloria and our grandson Maddex.

Two of the residents in the RV park regularly play local music gigs and they put on a show for us in the clubhouse on 1/16/26. I especially liked the sign they showed on their amp/speaker.

I started playing with AI and some pictures to replace the AWFUL paint-result that was the RV surface above our front windshield. See next picture.

Here's what that paint looked like above our front windshield, BEFORE the arwork we purchased to put in its place.

And here's the AFTER!

This picture essentially became the graphic that ended up on the RV over the windshield. This is TOTALLY AI-generated.

On 2/21/26, we went out on another boat ride to celeberate a fellow-Sherwood RV Resort resident's birthday.

We went over to the Daytona Bike-week for the rally 2/27 - 3/4/2026. Lots of GORGEOUS motorcycles to see!

We got pin-striping done by a fellow we met at our RV park, "Cackleberry's Campground". We LOVED the results!

From Daybona Beach, we rode out to nearby Ponce Inlet. See videos for gorgeous beach views. I just happened to like these birds....

Rode out to Costco on 3/28/25. I ALWAYS love their hot dogs and a cold drink for $1.50 plus tax!!

We took the RV in to get 30,000 mile service to a nearby Cummins dealership. They invited us to come the afternoon before our 4/2/26 appointment, stay overnight, and avail ourselves of free hookups for electric and water, so they could start first thing in the morning.

While they worked on the 30,000 mile service, which would take around 4 hours, we planted ourselves in a convenient, shaded corner of one of the parking lots on the SPRAWLING facilities. A lady approached us in her car after we had been out here for about two hours, rolled down her window, and asked, "Are you homeless??" At first, we laughed hard in private, but in retrospect, it was a pretty sweet genuine gesture.

Woo-Hoo -- We're on the road for Sultan, WA! We'll spend about two months to get there. We'll drive about 275 miles, stay in an RV park for five days, then repeat that same all the way to June 13, 2026.

Ooh, let's change those water filters more often going forward!

Here comes another state on 4/29/26.

There's a familiar place.

And... Another state on 4/29/26

I took a number of pictures of our batteries in quest of getting 100% of them replaced soon. Since this RV is a 2015 model, probably built in 2014, I'm confident that the batteries were brand new with the rig. So 11 years old - We're running on borrowed time!

Another view of the batteries so I can have an intelligent conversation with a center that can do the work. Bottom like is that we found a truck service place in Omaha Nebraska that came out to the RV to do the work and replaced all EIGHT batteries. With labor, about $4,000. Based on research I had done over the past 7-10 days, that was NOT a surprise.

And now 5/8/26, putting another set of states on the map!
